Azurite

Locality: Tschudi Mine, Otavi, Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia

An intensely colored, lustrous, and aesthetic Azurite specimen, measuring 2.5cm x 1.9cm x 1.8cm. The color is electric, intense royal blue and the habit is an amazing "asterisk" of doubly terminated "feathered" blades. The luster is glassy and brilliant, and the thin aspects have a glowing clarity and flash that is simply stunning.
