Mogok Township, Pyin-Oo-Lwin District, Mandalay Division, Burma (Myanmar)
Blood-red crystal of ruby corundum with excellent transparency (almost gem-grade). The crystal form is six-sided with tapering termination. Overall size of mineral specimen: 14x7x5 mm. Size of individual crystals: 14 mm.
