Wüstite : FeO, Iron (Var: Kamacite) : (Fe,Ni), Goethite : α-Fe³⁺O(OH)

Locality: Sikhote-Alin meteorite, Paseka village, Sikhote-Alin Mts, Primorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia

Black crust of wustite on surface of meteorite particle, formed during its moving through atmosphere. Metallic-white kamacite is matrix. Brown secondary goethite is visible. It formed during contact of the meteorite with a wet ground. FOV is ~1x0.8 cm. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.
