Locality: Frizington, West Cumberland Iron Field, North and Western Region (Cumberland), Cumbria, England, UK

Two elongated doubly terminated Baryte crystals have grown in alignment, aesthetically positioned on a matrix of pearly white Dolomite 'saddles'. The Barytes measure 62mm across, are semi translucent and dark yellow with colourless terminations. The Dolomite saddles measure up to 5mm. Both minerals have red Iron coatings and inclusions in the outer layer. A nice example of an English Baryte. Pellman #760
