Betafite : (Ca,U)2(Ti,Nb)2O6(OH)

Single crystal of tan-colored betafite fully crystallized on all sides. The top has an octahedral (pyramidal) shape, while the bottom shows parallel flattened shapes. From the type locality for this mineral. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #607. Overall size of mineral specimen: 18x18x10 mm. Size of individual crystals: 18 mm.
