Agregate of purple-brown bariopyrochlore in the vug of alkaline-syenit pegmatite. Apearance of the mineral is uncommon. Usualy it forming metasomaticaly in weathering crusts after carbonatites containing ordinar pyrochlore. Such pseudomorphoses are white, earthy and contain significant amounts of strontium (so call "pandaite"). This bariopyrochlore is almost Sr-free and compact. FOV is ~7x6 mm. Pavel M.
