Locality: Taimyr (Oktyabr'skoye; Oktyabr'sky) Cu-Ni deposit, Noril'sk, Putoran Plateau, Taimyr Peninsula, Taymyrskiy Autonomous Okrug, Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia

Unusually large crystal of this rare platinum telluride demonstrating perfect cleavage. It is in talnakhite (bronze-violet) -galena (oxidised, dark-grey) agregate. In the left lower corner of the photo bright metallic grain of unidentified PGE mineral present. FOV is ~6x5 mm. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.
