Locality: Cavradi gorge, Curnera Valley, Tujetsch (Tavetsch), Vorderrhein Valley, Grischun (Grisons; Graubünden), Switzerland

Double-sided specimen of lustrous metallic hematite crystals up to 10 mm in a parallel formation. Minor 1 mm rutile crystals on one face. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #741. Overall size of mineral specimen: 15x14x12 mm. Size of individual crystals: 1-10 mm.
