Beryl (Var: Aquamarine) : Be₃Al₂Si₆O₁₈, Muscovite : KAl₂[(OH)₂|AlSi₃O₁₀]

Locality: Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan

9.5 x 7.1 x 3.9 cm. A GEM aquamarine crystal, measuring about 1.5 cm across the termination and in height, in a bed of bladed muscovite. Perfect termination and complete and uncontacted all around. There are a few smaller and equally gemmy (and complete) aqua crystals of aqua in addition to the larger one.
