Potassic-ferro-sadanagaite

Locality: Birkhin (Ozernovskii) gabbro massif, Narin-Kunta, Irkutskaya Oblast', Prebaikalia (Pribaikal'e), Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia

Black impregnation of fine grains of titanoan (4.09-4.76 % TiO₂) Potassic-ferro-sadanagaite in hyperaluminous Anortite-Margarite-Clynozoisite rock with Corundum and Spinel. Potassic-ferro-sadanagaite is the single dark-coloured mineral in this rock. FOV is ~12x10 mm. Collected, investigated and described by Valentina B. Savel'eva in 1995 in space between Ozernovskii and Krestovskii massifs of Priolkhon'e. Pavel M. Kartashov collection (#3368) and photo.
