Locality: Skitchewaug Trail quarry, Springfield, Windsor Co., Vermont, USA

Several near-parallel tabular crystals of yellow barite. The crystals are translucent and have lustrous surfaces. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #196. Overall size of mineral specimen: 20x15x5 mm. Size of individual crystals: 20 mm.
