Wardite


Wardite : NaAl3[(OH)2|PO4]2 · 2H2O

Large (15 mm!) colorless crystal of wardite with several smaller wardite crystals around the base. Fully crystallized front and back. No damage. Small black (goethite?) hemispherical microcrystals are scattered on the termination. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #304. Overall size of mineral specimen: 18x15x13 mm. Size of individual crystals: 3-15 mm.
