Locality: Tazheranskii Massif, Lake Baikal area, Irkutskaya Oblast', Prebaikalia (Pribaikal'e), Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia
7 mm long black prismatic crystal of azoproite from the type locality. Associating minerals are calcite, yellowish Fe-free forsterite and colourless spinel. Collected by author - Aleksei A. Konev in 1985. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.
