Locality: Buca della Vena Mine, Ponte Stazzemese, Stazzema, Apuan Alps, Lucca Province, Tuscany, Italy
Large sprays (to 15 mm) of densively packed micro prismatic crystals of black metallic Marrucciite (IMA 2006-15) covering Dolomite matrix (overall 2.5 x 2.0 x 1.0 cm). Identified by SEM-EDX and single crystal diffraction. From the "Sala del castello". Collected by Massimo Batoni. JF Carpentier specimen (#00646) and photograph.
