One of my two little reasons I don't get out to field collect these days. However, on our recent trip to Ramsey's farm (est. 1860), to pick our pumpkins for Halloween, my other daughter Sadie and I spent OUR time collecting large Mica xtls and glassy granular quartz studded with tiny gemmy Garnets (likely Spessartine). Could I be any more proud . . unlikely!
