Fluorite

Locality: Rogerley Mine, Rogerley Quarry, Frosterley, Weardale, North Pennines, Co. Durham, England, UK

A 15 cm plate of well-formed, transparent penetration-twin fluorite crystals up to 3.5 cm on edge. Twinned crystal shows well-developed vicinal faces. Specimen was recovered from the Jewel Box pocket in August, 2007.
