Locality: Calumet, Houghton Co., Michigan, USA

Rich specimen of classic mohawkite (a mixture of algodonite, domeykite and arsenic-rich copper) in white quartz matrix. The contrast of the white quartz against the dark mohawkite is very attractive. With old label from Schortmann's. Ex. Al Sebela collection. Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x4.5x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-4 mm.
