Veszelyite

Veszelyite : (Cu,Zn)2Zn(PO4)2·2H2O

A super specimen of Veszelyite - a rare Zinc/Copper Phosphate. Dark blue-green Veszelyite has formed in an attractive cluster of thin, sharply formed crystals in approximately parallel alignment on a matrix of adamantine Cerussite. The Veszelyite crystals are quite transparent around the edges which adds a luminous edge to the crystal group. An excellent representation of the rare species from the locality which produced a finite number of fine specimens some years ago.

Size: 12mm x 16mm x 12mm
