Locality: San Juan de Rayas Mine (Rayas Mine; Reyes Mine), Guanajuato, Mun. de Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico

Cluster of many dark metallic acanthite crystals up to 3 mm. Most of the crystals are a cubic habit, so the acanthite is pseudomorphing the argentite. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #562. Overall size of mineral specimen: 18x12x12 mm. Size of individual crystals: 1-3 mm.
