Denisovite, Aegirine

Locality: Eveslogchorr Mt, Khibiny Massif, Kola Peninsula, Murmanskaja Oblast', Northern Region, Russia

Grey fibrous Denisovite aggregate from the type locality. Associating mineral is black prismatic Aegirin. Specimen of superb quality from author of the specie. I myself was unable to collect something similar on the locality during many visits of it. Specimen size is 5x3x0.8 cm. Collected by Yurii P. Men'shikov in a late 70th. Pavel M. Kartashov collection (#1048) and photo.
