Antlerite

The crystal measures 1.2 mm in length. The green color, a bit bluer in hue than dioptase, presents the often encountered photographic problem of accurately representating subtle shades of blues and greens. This one appears as a simple text book orthorhombic form, but this crystal is actually twinned.
