Hexagonal erionite needles with minute beads of iron silicate. Cannon Microprobe, Seattle, WA backscatter image. Properly abbreviated "SEM/BSE" for scanning electron microprobe backscatter electron image! The field of view is approximately 300 microns. Blocky clinoptilolite in the background.
