Debbie Woolf (left) & Charlotte (Lottie) Jooste in her kitchen in June 2001. Lottie gave me Tantalite & Pollucite specimens mined by her & she showed me the biggest Aquamarine I've ever seen from this region, it filled the palm of my hand & was so gemmy & blue, it brought tears to my eyes, even the 'Smithsonian Institute' wanted this specimen, it was a privilege to be shown it !! Her farm was a destination for many mineralogists visiting Namibia. Joosteite is recently an approved mineral by the IMA & named after her for her contribution to the mineral world.
