Locality: Tip Top Mine, Fourmile, Custer District, Custer Co., South Dakota, USA
Jahnsite-(CaMnFe) occurs at theTip Top Mine in two types, both morphologically the same. One is deep red-brown while the second type, having a lower iron content, is green-yellow.
