A derelict mine at the end of a steep, dusty track down a valley on the N slopes of the Troodos Mountains, at about 34°56'35"N 32°52'42"E (Google Earth co-ordinates). The mine entrance was an adit just around the corner beyond the white hut, and I found some rather rich lumps of chromite ore lying around.

It is probably the Kannoures Chromite Mine; (ref. Mindat forum discussion: Chromite Mine in the Troodos Mountains, Cyprus.)
