Greenockite, Calcite

Locality: Columbia mine, Marion, Illinois - Kentucky Fluorspar District, Crittenden Co., Kentucky, USA

Greenockite-coated calcite crystal from a large boulder found on the dump with patches of this material (which is pretty rare). Alan Goldstein specimen (A173) and photo. Crystal is about 5 mm long.
