Locality: 2nd Sovetskii Mine (2nd Sovietskiy Mine; Vtoroi Sovietskiy Mine; 2nd Sovietskii Mine), Dal'negorsk (Dalnegorsk; Tetyukhe; Tjetjuche; Tetjuche), Kavalerovo Mining District, Primorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia

An exquisite optical fluorite miniature, 4 cm high, with no external damage - its only flaw, if it is that, is an internal cleavage plane in two individual crystals. The calcite-rich matrix has a single, nearly invisible contact point. Several perspectives are needed to appreciate this specimen, and they are provided. Collection and photo, T. Peterson.
