Locality: Setubal river, Malacacheta, Mucuri valley, Minas Gerais, Southeast Region, Brazil

1.4 x 0.8 cm fully terminated crystal of chrysoberyl variety alexandrite. This rascal has outstanding color change between indoor and outdoor lighting! This prismatic habit is quite extraordinary for the species also. Looking down the c-axis, however, the cyclic twinning is clearly evident.
