Chalcedony (Var: Sard)

Locality: Arts Bogdo (Arz Bogdo), Gobi Desert, Dornogovi Aimag, Mongolia

Crust of brown to orange translucent sard from fissure in basalt. Specimen size is 7x5.5x2 cm. Selfcollected in September of 1989. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.
