Locality: Bluebird Kyanite Mine (Ogilby Kyanite Mine; Ogilby Kyanite Deposit Mine; Drifted Snow; Vitrefrax Mine), Vitrefrax Hill (Bluebird Hill), Cargo Muchacho District (Hedges District; Ogilby District), Cargo Muchacho Mts, Imperial Co., California, USA
Etched and hollowed-out almandine crystal about 4 mm across. Photo and specimen: Steve Stuart. It came from a micromount collection I recently purchased.
