Arsenic, Proustite, Tetrahedrite

Locality: Gabe Gottes Mine (incl. Giftgrube), Ste Marie-aux-Mines (Markirch), Haut-Rhin, Alsace, France

This specimen was probably found during World War II when the mine was mined for the Arsenic only. The specimen is covered by a cluster of red Proustite and thousands of little red Proustite crystals. Also present are some Tetrahedrite and Quartz crystals. Ex Sorbonne Collection.
