Okay, so it is not quite as pretty as the Nevada ones, but hey - this is a PERUVIAN orpiment, of UNUSUAL fine quality (in fact, rivaling the Nevada ones, which is rare for these!). It came out of the collection of Steve Smale, and you can see how translucent and lustrous these crystals are - with very little of the bruising that is so common on these.
