Locality: Fengjiashan Mine (Daye Copper mine), Edong Mining District, Daye Co., Huangshi Prefecture, Hubei Province, China
6.4 x 5.8 x 3.9 cm. The Daye Mine just keeps putting out a staggering VARIETY, if not quantity, of mineral specimens. Here is a new form of calcite from there - snowy balls that on close appearance have rosette-like surfaces, piled up on the sparing matrix.
