The face of a zinnwaldite mica book crystal (10x10x18 cm). Zinnwaldite is a Fe & Li mica in the mica series on the siderophyllite polylithionite join. It has a med. dark honey color when viewing through its sheets. The green fluorite (15x15 mm) mirrors the crystal shape of the mica as it runs through it and flouresces a bright green. The cream color opal var. hyalite forms between the sheets and glows a blueish white under UV. Collected 65' level Dec/07 by Mark Wylie. Photo by Shaun Mackey.
