Thorutite - an approx. 14 x 8 x 8 cm feldspar and or calcite and dolomite matrix with hundreds of tiny dark brown or black 1 mm spear like crystals. Collected by C. O’Neill at the Buckwheat Dump, Franklin, New Jersey in 2005. This specimen registers 50,000 cpm on a Ludlum Model 3 with 44-9 probe.
