Tremendous cabinet specimen of gem Golden Calcites on matrix!
This is one of the finest Tri-State Calcite specimens that I've ever seen or owned! It almost
could be confused for an Elmwood specimen if not for the matrix. The Calcite crystals are in
excellent shape with transparent tips and transparent to translucent centers. They measure
12.7 cm and 12 cm in size and both are doubly terminated! This specimen would make a
great centerpiece for any Calcite or Tri-State Mining District collection. From the
Mid Continent Mine, Treece, Picher Field, Tri-State District, Cherokee County, Kansas
Measures 13.5 cm by 15.8 cm in size.
