Locality: Hendersons Quarry, Mt. Ngongotaha, Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, North Island, New Zealand
Hematite balls perched on an edenite crystal. Tridymite crystals line the vugh. Field of view is 2mm. Specimen collected by me in October 2007 while on a field trip as part of the 25th New Zealand Micro-Mineral Symposium and 30th Annual Seminar of the Joint Mineralogical Societies of Australia.
