5.6 x 3.8 x 3.7 cm. Rhombohedral crystals of glassy and gemmy calcite grew over a knob of matrix here . The large, colorless crystal is 5.0 cm across. This specimen was from the collection of James E. Moresby White. Having grown up collecting the quarries in the area, I can tell you this is EXCEPTIONAL in quality for the condition, the glassiness, and the shocking lustre. Ex. Carnegie Museum Collection.
