Alleghanyite

Alleghanyite

This image has been released to the public domain and may be used freely.
FOV 6.2 x 4.7 mm. Ex D. Phister via Franklin Mineral Museum.
Mine not given but is probably Sterling Hill.
Note: Original parent was excessively saturated. It has been replaced with a broader view with better color fidelity. (The old parent is still viewable as a child stereo photo. There is a lot of "mineralogical" dirt on the xls which hinders photography. I will probably attempt to remove it at some point.)
There is a also a macro view showing all off the alleghanyite on the specimen.
