Acicular to prismatic beryl variety aquamarine crystals included in euhedral quartz crystal, on matrix of whilte albite crystals. Overall size 5.5 x 5.5 x 5.0 cm; quartz crystal is 4.4 x 2.3 x 1.8 cm. Found just above the road to Delmoe Lake, about 3 miles north of the Homestake Pass exit on I-90, found September 12, 1987. Some of the beryl has been etched, leaving empty cavities in the quartz, which are partially filled with clays (brown). Self-collected.
