Locality: Glens Peak, Sawtooth Batholith/Sawtooth Mts, Boise Co., Idaho, USA

Note: The mineral species Potassiccarpholite is not listed in our database for this locality. This specimen may be misidentified or the mindat list of minerals at this locality may be incomplete.

Terminated potassiccarpholite crystals, on matrix of curved albite crystals and white topaz; found west of Glenns Peak. From the only true documented potassiccarpholite find, and the best specimen collected from this miarolitic cavity. Size of view approximately 2.0 x 2.0 cm. Other minerals found in association include smoky quartz and microcline.Self-collected.
