Andradite, Quartz

Locality: El Mochito Mine, Santa Bárbara Department, Honduras

Cinnamon colored andradites and small quartz crystals compose the bulk of this specimen from this Ag-Zn-Pb mine in northwestern Honduras. The deposit at the El Mochito mine was discovered in 1938 and is still mined today.
