Pyromorphite (10,1cm x 8,3cm) , 800 Level, Jersey Vein, Bunker Hill.
Mario Pauwels collection , Fernand Van Mieghem photo.

Arsenian rich, two generations Pyromorphite specimen with a rich color and a slight tapering "barrel shaped" hexagonal prism crystallisation. The first generation "barrel shaped" crystals are covered with a second generation of tiny crystals what caused the reflections and the strong "greasy-wet" luster on the piece. This specimen was found in august 1995 by Wayne Thompson during his mining operations in Bunker Hill, and and I bought from Wayne a month later in september 1995.
