Fluorapatite, Muscovite

Locality: Zé Pinto prospect (Aldeia do Eme mine), Aldeia, Conselheiro Pena, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil

5.8 x 5.5 x 4.8 cm. A superb apatite and muscovite combination from the 1989 find at the Jose Pinto Mine of Brazil. A 2.8 cm, sharp, gemmy and lustrous, hexagonal, green apatite crystal is very attractively set amongst lustrous, interlocking muscovite books.
