First view of "unopened" pocket

This photo was taken of a miarolitic cavity just as it was found: typically with grass and organics growing in the opening; also note white quartz to the right, which is a quartz crystal partly exposed. You can also see the pegmatitic texture surrounding the cavity but not extending into the surrounding granite. Only an inch or two away from this vug, no evidence of a pocket is seen. Note hammer for size comparison.
