Locality: Kedon, Magadanskaya Oblast', Far-Eastern Region, Russia

Single crystal of translucent purple amethyst quartz on matrix. The purple color is deepest at the termination. Condition is good, though there are minor nicks visible under careful scrutiny. Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 3 cm.
