Locality: Kurochkin Log, Vishnevye (Vishnyovye) Mts, Chelyabinsk Oblast', Southern Urals, Urals Region, Russia

Chip of a large monograin of pinkish eleolite from miaskit-pegmatites of Kurochkin Log. Note the lustre, which is so typical for this variety of nepheline. Specimen size is 6x5x2 cm. Collected by Nikolai Frishman in 1983. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.
