Wulfenite

Locality: Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region (Oshikoto), Namibia

Probably by consensus one of the most dramatic pieces in the whole collection, this piece features a 2 cm wulfenite perched on a plate of brilliant neon pink dolomite, and comes from the one pocket ever found that produced such amazing contrast. It is also one of the largest known specimens from that pocket. ex. Lange Collection
