Locality: Burgess Mine, Carlow Township, Hastings Co., Ontario, Canada

Here is a nice sample of black Corundum from Burgess Mine. The sample is made up of numeral black & red Corundum crystals but there are two large ones that are prominent, they are shown in the image. Both are single terminated. They range in size from 2.1 to 3.1 cm long. The sample is wet. The overall sample is 4.8 x 3.9 x 3.4 cm. From M. Adamowicz collection.
