A classic and very nice thumbnail specimen of descloizite from Berg Aukas, Namibia. An interesting story with this one. It was given to me as an 'unknown' mineral, one of four alledgedly collected on the 18 Level of the Zinc Corp Mine, Broken Hill by a certain miner. It is clearly not from Broken Hill and shows what some people will try to do to deceive. The specimen is approx 30mm tall.
